Geographic Information System Technology (GIST) Research Unit		The GIST has been involved in geographic information system (GIS) activities since 1987. Activities include data automation and distribution, partnerhips with agencies located in the San Luis Obispo regiona, and exploration of the utilization of GIS and multimedia information.
